About Us
Celtic Heart Tours owner and operator Marcie Miller had a deep love for Ireland even before she first set foot on Irish soil in 2002. Since then she has returned again and again, responding to a tug on her heart that keeps pulling her back. Or as Irish poet W.B. Yeats said, "I feel it in my deep heart’s core."
As a solo traveler she realizes it's not always easy for women to travel. She began Celtic Heart Tours in 2011 as a way to share her love of Ireland with other women and to give them the opportunity to experience the fun and freedom that comes from traveling with like-minded women.
She's done the legwork and on-the-ground research to ensure that Celtic Heart Tours can provide the perfect Irish experience, whether this is your first time or a return visit. She will accompany each group as tour director.
Marcie worked as a journalist, ESL teacher and stained glass artist before following her heart to form Celtic Heart Tours.
She is grateful to have a supportive life and business partner, Chris Grant, who also shares her Celtic heritage.
