Lane is our California Sales Executive and a native of the state of Washington. Lane is a sous chef and was trained at the New England Culinary Institute, VT. Lane grew up in the country building trails and riding Honda 50's and Yamaha MX 100 dirt bikes with his brother Chuck.

Lane's hobbies include everything, but to list a few: Cooking, fly-fishing, skiing, fly-tying, bicycling, hiking, wine, motorcycles… A few favorite things: Bacon, kissing girls, candles, crows, un-pasteurized cheese, and corn dogs! A few more favorite things: Hockey, bicycle racing (former member of the US World Junior Cycling Team), the biathlon, movie Raising Arizona, Foie Gras, Gelchw Albertz-Erden, Urziger Wurzgarten, and Riesling Auslese. Thing that bugs me the most: Speed detection of any kind!! Favorite Route: South Hwy. 1 from Big Sur, over Naciamento Pass to G14, to 101, to G16, back to Hwy. 1, Big Sur. Motor Oil: Mobil-1, full synthetic.

Lane's Stories

Chuck is our ghost rider at this time. He sails as a Third Officer for Chevron Shipping Company on their U.S. flagged oil tankers, but loves to ride motorcycles in his off time. Chuck grew up in the country building trails and riding Honda 50's and Yamaha M X 100 dirt bikes with his brother Lane, eventually graduating to a VFR 800. Chuck's first Big Bike was a Honda Transalp that he used to ride to Baja and back home.

Chuck's goals: Teach his wife Maureen to ride, be the best father, buy a house, live one day at a time, and be happy. Favorite sports: Motorcycle riding, weight lifting with Maureen, and hiking. Favorite thing to do: Ride the twisties faster than anybody wants to. Least favorite thing: ride the interstate and mow the lawn.

Bill Rowland loves to ride!

Bill is our National Sales Executive and a native of the state of Washington. He began riding motorcycles 21 years ago. His first motorcycle was a H1 Kawasaki, but currently rides a Honda VFR-800. Bill is married to Suzane and has two adult sons. Both sons, Chuck and Lane, follow their father's footsteps in riding VFR's.

Bill's favorite activities are: motorcycle riding, bicycle road racing, backpacking in the Olympic Mountains, fly-fishing, photography, and hanging out with family. His least favorite thing to do: Cleaning up cat stuff!! Best motorcycle route: Bend Oregon south on Route 97 to La Pine then east on Route 31 to Valley Falls Oregon.
