Ascension (2007) Having recently done a lot of work that involved looking at waveforms, I found myself increasingly frustrated that they didn't better reflect what a sound is actually like. This animation, set to a portion of a Canvasclimber song, is an attempt to make the waveform better represent a sound. It was created with pen on paper, captured using Framethief, and edited in Final Cut. (:50)
