Summary and Analysis was a runner up in IFC's Little Big Planet Play Create Share challenge. Check it out
here.
Secondly, after the first sell-out show at the Parkway in Oakland, we're having an encore screening of Miya of the Quiet Strength at the El Cerrito Speakeasy on March 29 at 2pm. There are also shows coming up soon in Iowa in Iowa City and Ames. Check out
miyafilm.com for the latest information.
My animation "Summary and Analysis" is a finalist in the Independent Film Channel's "Play. Create. Share." short film challenge. You can check out my film and the other four finalists at
IFC's site.
Join me at the
premiere of the documentary I recently co-edited,
Miya of the Quiet Strength, in Oakland on January 4th at 2PM. It's at the
Parkway Theater.
The past few months I've been hard at work co-editing a film by Daniel Julien with
Tal Skloot called
Miya of the Quiet Strength. It's a one hour biographical documentary about Miya Rodolfo-Sioson, an amazing disability rights activist in Berkeley. ABC 7 News recently aired a piece about the film which you can see
here.
A couple more trailers I edited for
Zala Films are now up.
Here's the trailer for
Troop 214, a documentary about Hungarian Scouting in exile during the cold war.
Two Super 8mm music videos I AC'd a few months ago for indie rock group Port O'Brien are
available now online.
I also did some work on the DVD release of a documentary called
Televsion: The Enchanted Mirror. More information and the trailer I cut are up on the
web site.
I created a new
flickr gallery that will follow the production of "
Automat," with pictures and information on how the film is being made. Hopefully, this gallery will be updated fairly regularly.
Automat production is going into full swing.
A new page for this project is up.
Sorry to be neglecting the site so much lately, but I've just been too busy working to work on any of my own projects. Hopefully I'll do some more animation soon, but until then, thought I'd let you know what I've been up to.
The two projects I've been assistant editing for Zala Films are just about finished. You can have a look at the trailers for
Hard Problems and
Julia Robinson and Solving Hilbert's Tenth Problem. Among other things, I completed animated graphics for both of these films. They'll be premiering in San Diego on January 8th.
Also, I've been working over at CNET editing videos. To get an idea of the kind of work I do there, have a look at this video on
cell phone applications or this video about
tech gifting.
Ooooh, aaaaaah,
Summary and Analysis is now up for your viewing pleasure. Please enjoy.
