Want to write? Have a story to tell? Having trouble getting started? Need a nudge putting pencil to paper? We have the class for YOU!! Rebecca Redshaw, a published author, playwright, teacher creates an encouraging atmosphere that frees the words stuck in your pencil and gets them flowing on to the paper!

Everybody is welcome for an hour of poetry reading! Bring in an all-time favorite of yours to share with others. How about presenting that poem you had to recite in 10th grade English class - no grade this time! Bring in poetry you are working on right now. and who could avoid writing poems about our beautiful Olympic Peninsula! Also happy, if desired, to illustrate the craft of creating specific kinds of poems - from haiku to cinquain - from the sonnet forms to contemporary free verse. No fee. “Say It in Spanish” Travel Language Group

1:30 – 2:30 p.m.

 

Come together in a group setting w/others to practice Spanish phrases useful to travelers. These sessions will offer practical information & phrases. Learn basic vowel sounds. It is not meant for those fluent in Spanish. Instructor, Howard Burrows, with limited Spanish conversational skills, will work with you on phrases that will make your stay in a Spanish speaking country a little easier. Take this class just for the fun of it! There will be no tests! Howard will be using, “Say It in Spanish” phrase Book ISBEN 0486 208117. Use this number if you need to order the book.
