A bus tour of the Nashville Highlights took us past the State Capitol. We stopped for a visit at Country Music Hall of Fame and Ryman Auditorium, original home of the Grand Ole Opry. |

From outside of
the Country Music Hall of Fame I took pictures of the Nashville Skyline. |

In the lobby is this beautiful
bronze statue of Roy Acuff and Minnie Pearl. The title is "Oh, Roy." |

The last stop on the tour was Broadway where you can find possibly the next Nashville Star. Guitars are located all over town, each created by a local artist. Honky-Tonk Heroes is located appropriately in front of the bar called Legends Corner. Here we had a drink and listened to the entertainment. |
Another bus tour took us to the great mansions of Nashville: The Hermitage,
Home of President Andrew Jackson and Belle Meade, a beautiful horse
farm. This was one of the few cool days on our trip. |

We took ourselves to the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. This place is huge! We were told it was a feast for the eyes with its many waterfalls, streams and gardens. See for yourself. | |
|
While in Nashville we stayed at
Jellystone RV Resort. We just couldn't resist sitting in the rockers on the
front porch while waiting for our tour bus to arrive.
Stay tuned....more Tennessee photos to come. |
