Wonder
Clouds riffle like sand on a windswept beach
Covering the sky as far as the eye will reach
An ambiance that’s calm, tranquil and serene
A fairy tale world overlooked and unseen
A film-draped moon hovers majestic on high
A picture of heaven in a dark blue sky
The stars lightly shimmer in this fairy tale scene
Peeking through a gauze that’s tranquil and serene
We gaze at this Eden in silence and wonder
At treasures that others blatantly plunder
Without wonder
