We Are Dreamers
We are dreamers in life on a perpetual journey
In a game we play in a continuous tourney
Each moment in time is a test in living
A cross road we travel are we taking or giving
In this paradox of time, what is winning or losing
What are the rules of the moment we’re choosing?
We can live in the now or look for tomorrow
In the material world we beg steal or borrow
Henceforth is a thought we ought to reflect
To look into self and our motives detect
In some circles in life to give is to win
To take from another is considered a sin
Will we win?
