Twilight’s Passion

Tinges of red imbue the pastel blues

Of a darkening sky of graying hues

A setting sun echoing refracted light

Like a dying embers faint fading plight

On billowy clouds white and ashen

An artist paints this evening’s passion

Pinpoints of light faint and soft

Appear in the heavens twilight loft

The moon and stars ignite the sky

With dreams and visions on wings that fly

The coming of dawn will come once more

Repeating the circle where eagles soar

Live and love, protect and nurture

As we turn a page, for tomorrows future
