Thou shalt not is a phrase of religious belief
Focusing on the negative that causes grief
Thou shalt not is used by righteous souls
Judging all others to attain their goals
Thou shalt not becomes a belief of fear
Afraid in the dark where we shed a tear
Reach for the light thou shalt not be afraid
It’s the fear of the darkness where we are betrayed
Thou shalt not has its place in life
A reminder of things that cause us strife
Thou shalt is a phrase that that we need to hear
To love and to cherish holding all things dear
With compassion and respect we reach with our heart
Giving and receiving with all we’re a part
We were given commandments how to live and to love
Parables of compassion that came from above
Fear is horror when used by righteous souls
They judge by their standards. What are their goals
Love one another as I loved you
