A subtle smile is given like the pleasant glow of morn
A tender gentle warming of the soul where it is born
From a heart that feels compassion with an appetite for living
With vitality and vigor and an eagerness for giving
Taking pleasure from the brightness that begins another day
Sharing with another all the daylight has to say
It’s another day of living a gift that we’ve been given
