Magical Night

Clouds wash gently across the darkened sky

Like foam from the sea as it’s drifting by

The moon  shines faint in this eerie light

Translucent and clear on this magical night

Stars flutter softly through this heavenly veil

That floats through the sky like a billowing sail

Each night is a mystery that slowly unfolds

This treasure of newness that the future holds

His peace and serenity pervades the sky

He created this gift from his throne on high

For you and I
