April, May, and June

Spring salmon fishing in the world famous Columbia River and its tributaries will have our attention in the Spring. We plan to follow the spring salmon run from the Lower Columbia all the way up into the interior of Washington. Fishing runs that are the strongest in thirty years, we will fly rod as much as conditions allow. All methods are available and over forty years of experience will be used. I am more excited about fishing the spring run of salmon in the Columbia River than I can ever remember. It will be an exceptional year!

Olympic Peninsula salmon, steelhead, and halibut, as well as trout fishing in Eastern Washington lakes and rivers will round out our focus for spring and early summer.

July, August, and September

Our attention shifts to summer steelhead on a fly in the top producing rivers of the Northwest, and saltwater flyfishing for salmon in the Neah Bay/Sekiu area. During this time we will continue to fish the Columbia River. Each day invites new excitement and varied venues.

We do sortie out to fish for halibut and trout occasionally for variety, as well as other species.

October

Fall sees us casting to thousands of Coho, Chinook (Kings),late summer-run steelhead and searun cutthroat in the rivers all over the Northwest. October may be the most spectacular month in the Northwest, many fish, many varieties, flies and all techniques produce well and the weather is great.

Remember! We can customize and make the trip just right for you!

November to March

This is the best time to catch winter-run steelhead. Flyfishing is tough, but we do it! If conditions will not permit successful flyfishing, we use gear and techniques that are suited to the conditions. I love this fishery, but it is one of the toughest and requires a hardy resolve.
