Able Guide Service

Salmon, steelhead, trout, or halibut; we are “Able” and willing to arrange your trip.

We flyfish on the Olympic Peninsula and throughout Washington State.

We guide for both catch-and-release and sport fishing.

We use all types of tackle for all species and specialize in flyfishing for salmon, steelhead, and trout.

We support other outdoor adventures: ie, kayak, canoe, hiking, dive, and camping.

We will design a trip to meet your interest and schedule.

We love to fish and we fish all the time--for decades and decades. We love to host guests who are experienced and love the sport as we do. We have much to share with you and can be helpful in your Northwest adventures. We enjoy hosting and teaching beginners. Families and groups are one of our specialties.(Special rates may be negotiated.)

Sekiu is on the coast just north of Sappho. Neither is very far from Pysht, which is not on the map. We are about one hour west of Port Angeles. It is an easy and scenic drive from Seattle via the Washington State Ferry System, U.S.Highway 101, and State Route 112 and or 113.

We have lived and worked in the Bellingham area also. This experience has given us many years to learn the ways of the rivers flowing into the East shore of Puget Sound.

As a child and young adult I lived in Clark County near Woodland. I began my guiding career on the Columbia, Cowlitz, and other rivers of South-central Washington and North-central Oregon.
